Green Line

The Green Line serves as the major connection between Green Cove Springs and Orange Park. The Green Line begins its run at 5:45 AM in Green Cove Springs serving local Green Cove stops that include Pier Station, the Clay County Health Department, the Courthouse.  It then travels north on SR 17 serving Worksource and the shopping areas along CR220 in Fleming Island are. It then travels north along Blanding Blvd. to the Orange Park Mall, across Wells Road, then south on Park Ave/ SR 17 serving Everest College and other locations along US 17 in Orange Park. The connection at the Orange Park Mall allows several individuals with disabilities the opportunity to transfer to JTA. This route is also utilized for a group of individuals going to Challenge Enterprises in Green Cove Springs and returning in the evening. The route makes 4 northbound runs and 5 southbound run daily Monday through Friday. On Saturday it provides the only weekend deviated bus route originating in Green Cove Springs and traveling Hwy 17 to CR 220 to Blanding Blvd. to the Orange Park Mall. The route connects Clay Transit with the JTA system every day of the week except Sunday.  Connecting to JTA allows riders access to the entire JTA urbanized area for employment opportunities, services and shopping. This greatly enhances the employment opportunities of transit dependent residents in Clay County that otherwise might be unemployed. The senior centers being the first and last stop on our routes allow many of our seniors the opportunity to utilize transportation which might otherwise be unavailable
